Uniworld is the luxury tier of river cruising. Its ships are decorated like grand hotels, with original art and antiques, and the fare includes everything from the open bar to gratuities and excursions. It sails the rivers of Europe, Egypt, India, Vietnam and Peru. No river cruise starts in Florida. I have not sailed Uniworld. It is where I send clients who want river cruising with nothing left to pay.

Royal Suites and Grand Suites
- Royal Suites are the top category, one or two per ship, with a separate living room, a marble bathroom and a butler.
- Grand Suites are the next level with more space than a standard stateroom and the same butler service.
- Suite guests get in-suite breakfast, packing and unpacking, and evening canapés. Uniworld is one of the few river lines with real butlers.
- Even standard staterooms have handmade beds and heavy fabrics. The ships are the most ornate on the rivers.

None. Itineraries begin in Paris, Bordeaux, Amsterdam, Budapest, Cairo, Delhi and Lima. The trip starts at Fort Myers or Miami airport for anyone in Southwest Florida. Uniworld sells air with the cruise and includes transfers.
