Regent sells the most inclusive fare in mainstream luxury cruising. Suites, balconies, excursions, drinks, dining, Wi-Fi and gratuities are in it, and business-class air on many sailings. Ships are small and the Caribbean season runs from Miami, which is a two-hour drive from Naples. I have not sailed Regent myself, and I say that on every page that mentions it.

Regent Suite and Master Suites
- The Regent Suite is the top of the fleet on Seven Seas Explorer, Splendor and Grandeur. One per ship. It has its own spa room and a car-and-driver in port.
- Master Suites and Grand Suites sit below it and are the ones most clients ask about. Both have separate living and sleeping rooms.
- Every guest, in every suite, gets the same inclusions. Higher suites add space, a butler and priority reservations, not a different fare type.
- The Veranda Suite is the entry level. It is still a suite with a balcony, which is the point of the line.

From Florida
Regent bases a ship in Miami for Caribbean and Panama Canal sailings in winter, with some departures from Fort Lauderdale. For the rest of the year the fleet is in Europe, Alaska and Asia, and Naples clients fly from Fort Myers or Miami to join.

Quiet, spacious and traditional. The average guest is retired and has cruised many times before. Dinner is a long event, not a stop on the way to a show.
Who it fits
- Travellers who take an excursion in every port and want them paid for already.
- Couples who have outgrown the resort ships and want the whole ship to feel like the suite area.
- Anyone booking a long itinerary where the included air matters.
Who should look elsewhere
- Families. Regent has no children's programme worth the name.
- Travellers who spend port days on the ship. They pay for excursions they never take.
